The Haskayne School of Business is committed to creating the next generation of business leaders. One way we do this is by abiding by the quality assurance that the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) certification provides.

Accreditation by the AACSB is a mark of excellence earned by fewer than five per cent of the world’s business schools. Haskayne has been accredited since 1985.

“Our Haskayne staff and faculty work incredibly hard to provide the highest-quality programs for our students,” says Dean Jim Dewald. “Receiving re-accreditation is the best form of recognition we can receive. Current and future students should know that this is a priority for us and is a mark of excellence in business education.”

Every year Haskayne completes surveys to keep AACSB up to date on programs, faculty, staff and student numbers. Every five years, the school goes through an extensive renewal process which occurred this past spring. The process includes qualification submissions from faculty members and a two-day visit from three deans from AACSB accredited business schools.

Haskayne was among the first in Canada to be accredited. Since then, the program has become known worldwide as the most prestigious form of accreditation that an institution and its business programs can earn.
