Our two locations support the activities of 300 students from undergraduate programs to practitioners returning for post-professional studies.
Undergraduate programs
Undergraduates at the University of Calgary have two options for study:
- Open Studies, a stream of introductory courses
- Minor in Architectural Studies
Both of these options are a great place to start exploring ideas architecture, planning and landscape architecture, and building the portfolio that's needed to apply for the professional graduate programs.
Professional graduate degrees
The School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape offers three graduate professional degrees (non-thesis):

Post-professional programs
Post-professional studies are offered to those who have already completed their professional degrees and are looking delve into a topic through certificate study and Continuous Professional Programs.
