Drop-in Advising Hours
In-person advising is available at our new campus location, 801 7 Ave SW. Appointments take place in UCDC1 710 or UCDC1 711. If you do not have building access (including prospective or non-SAPL visitors), a member of the SAPL Advising Team will meet you in the lobby and escort you to the advising area.
Please email undergraduate@sapl.ucalgary.ca in advance to arrange access.

- Completing registration or building course schedules on the student’s behalf
- Overloading into full classes
- Career advising

Connect with an Advisor
SAPL will host a number of virtual group advising sessions for students to drop in and connect with the Undergraduate Advising Team on all BDCI inquiries. This is a good opportunity for current and prospective students to have a more casual discussion/check-in about general degree information, course planning, academic policies.

BDCI Check-Ins
During the fall and winter terms, the Undergraduate Program Specialist and Undergraduate Student Advisor will also be available for informal check-ins and advising (both individual drop-in or group advising) for BDCI students only at the BDCI homerooms (studio spaces).

Writing Symbols Lodge - Drop-in Advising
During the fall and winter terms, the Undergraduate Program Specialist also provides drop-in advising for all students at the Writing Symbols Lodge (MSC 390Z).
