Join our Faculty Information Night to learn more about the Bachelor of Design in City Innovation (BDCI) program at the School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape (SAPL). Through studio-based learning, students utilize both analog and digital tools like drawing, 3D modeling, and digital fabrication to drive city innovation, develop design-thinking skills to create and prototype ideas, and get involved with applied and community-engaged projects. If you’re interested in becoming an architect, planner, landscape architect, or in pursuing other city-building related careers in business, law, public policy, or entrepreneurship, the BDCI is for you!

The School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape is hosting virtual information sessions to offer prospective graduate students an opportunity to learn about admissions, programs, student experience, and career pathways. This webinar will explore the Master of Planning (MPlan) program and be a great opportunity to ask questions and learn about studying in our School. 

The School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape is hosting virtual information sessions to offer prospective graduate students an opportunity to learn about admissions, programs, student experience, and career pathways. This webinar will explore the Master of Landscape Architecture (MLA) program and be a great opportunity to ask questions and learn about studying in our School. 

The Doctor of Design is a unique three-year degree that allows mid-career and established architects, planners, and landscape architects to stay embedded in their professional practice, while leveraging their expertise in a specific research area to create solutions with real-world impact. Through this research framework, students identify and develop innovations that make ideas 'project-ready' for integration into practice and continue to elevate their career. Join Dean John Brown, Professor Barry Wylant, and a current student for a program overview, discussion about the design-based curriculum, time commitment, eligibility criteria, and samples of current student projects. We will also have time for questions at the end of the session.
