Thinking about a career in architecture, planning or landscape architecture? We offer a variety of courses on design and the built environment for all students to take.

Ready to get a head start on your architectural career? Our undergraduate Minor in Architectural Studies has the same courses as the Foundation year of our Master of Architecture Degree.

What is Design Studio like?

Students in studio courses ARST 431 Design Thinking in the Built Environment Studio I and ARST 441 Design Thinking in the Built Environment Studio II learn in a hands-on, experiential environment while developing a portfolio. It can get a little messy but it's a lot of fun!

Visit the studio pages to view photo galleries and explore the courses in more detail.
