Supporting United Way

Having a common purpose brings us together, makes us stronger and creates community. That might look like helping local families put food on the table, connecting Calgarians with crucial mental health services, or giving people a sense of belonging and inclusion. When we stand united to help others, we are part of something bigger than ourselves, and create ripples of positive impact.

This year especially, we have all been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, but we have not all been impacted equally. Job loss, isolation and increased stress and anxiety have affected vulnerable populations most of all, and our community needs support.

Every donation contributes to creating lasting social change and improving local lives. It creates ripples of positive impact across our community that swell to waves of change.

Donations to United Way, are investments in our local community. Giving our family, friends, and neighbours access to support when they need it most and helping vulnerable Calgarians access the supports and services they need to recover and look toward a brighter future.

United Way focuses on creating positive change in the areas of poverty, kids and strong communities by investing in social programs and special initiatives. United Way is working to create a social safety net that will allow our city to achieve lasting change and UCalgary is proud to do our part.

Our $600,000 goal will help support 2,336 Calgarians.
