Marketing and Communications Volunteers

*Looking for superstars*. From designing top-secret graphics, telling stories about tactical urban interventions, to rolling out a guerilla postering campaign – Alberta’s school of architecture, planning and landscape architecture is preparing for disruption and looking for people of all ages and backgrounds to volunteer. Find out more if you’re a witty, socially-conscious, fun-loving activist who isn’t afraid of chaos.

Podcast Research Crew

Introducing the hosts of our pilot podcast...fellow students John Baziuk (MArch’21) and Emily Kaing (MLA’21). These brave souls have volunteered to lead the planning, hosting and production of our inaugural 2019/20 Design Matters podcast season.

But no one can move mountains alone. We’re looking for can-do types interested in helping out with research for the episodes.

The plan is ambitious - to leverage the presence of invited guest lecturers and produce a character podcast complementing the Design Matters lecturers (we have 11 this year) - it’s a chance to dig deeper and learn more about these rockstar professionals. Four faculty members (super stars in their own right) will be the first guests on the show - to help prototype and refine the format.

We are also partnering with campus radio station CJSW for recording and production support.

Commitment for podcast researchers would be a few hours a week or so before every lecture. First lecture is Sept 12.
