DSGN 221 - Histories of Innovation in the Designed Environment - Fall 2023

Historical studies addressing the global emergence of different modernities in the designed environment. Emphasizes themes such as industrialization and modernization, coloniality, nationalism and internationalism, and professionalization, as these relate to architecture, landscape architecture, and city planning.
This course may not be repeated for credit.
