The Hunter Hub for Entrepreneurial Thinking, within the University of Calgary, will host the Global Consortium of Entrepreneurship Centers (GCEC) Conference from October 2–4, 2025, making Calgary the first Canadian city to host the conference in nearly a decade.  The conference is the world’s largest annual gathering of entrepreneurship educators and leaders, drawing over 500 attendees from around the globe.

Hosting GCEC 2025 marks a significant milestone for UCalgary’s entrepreneurship community. As one of the country’s top startup creators and Canada’s youngest top research university, UCalgary leads conversations on the future of entrepreneurship and impact.

GCEC 2025 will showcase the vibrancy of Calgary’s entrepreneurship ecosystem and invite global partners to explore how we can build a more inclusive and resilient future together.
