The University of Calgary Bookstore is launching a brand-new event this March, Staff Appreciation Sale, to strengthen campus spirit and foster a sense of community among staff. By introducing this event, the Bookstore aims to encourage employees to proudly show their UCalgary pride and visually represent the university on a daily basis.

“UCalgary is an incredible place to work, and we want staff to have more ways to represent that. We hope this event encourages a culture where wearing university-branded apparel is a reflection of the pride we have in our community” says Shane Royal, senior director of Ancillary Services.

The appreciation sale features apparel and accessories that are not available in store and are custom made for this event. From March 4 to 25, staff will have the opportunity to purchase select items, including quarter-zip pullovers, softshell jackets, vests, polos, dress shirts, and crewnecks.

"We have some exciting and exclusive options in the sale that are suitable to wear in our office settings, including a branded dress shirt which is my personal favourite!" says John Campbell, director of the UCalgary Bookstore.

The sale will be available online here from March 4 until March 25.
